Resume and Very Short Statement
Very Short Statement:
I am a painter working in Acrylic, Egg Tempera, silver point, and mixed media (tempera/silver point/pastel)). I live and work in New York City, and the Hudson Valley.
My work consists of representational paintings which have strong narrative, most often with a liminal quality and content which always invites the viewers to become emotionally involved. I want you to be drawn into the narrative of the painting, be intrigued by the liminal aspect and emotionally moved, as you enjoy the beauty of the color, light, form and paint. I am essentially a Magic Realist.
